Juli Black - Founder and Managing Partner
Juli established JBlack Associates in 1996 after a career as a top performer for a major national recruiting firm. While there, in addition to achieving her own personal success, she also trained and mentored other recruiters and in the process established the guiding principles that drive her successful recruiting and placement business today.
While seemingly self-evident, Juli observed that these guiding principles were not universally being practiced. She found this to be especially true in the fast-paced and very competitive sales sector of the high-tech industry, where JBlack’s focus has been since its inception. High-Tech, and specifically its sales sector, are among the most demanding and challenging in all of industry and require the best and the brightest. JBlack Associates is prepared by both experience and commitment to deliver just that.
Lynne Johnson - Managing Partner
Lynne joined JBlack Associates in 2007. Prior to that, Lynne worked for a number of software companies in a variety of technical and managerial roles, including vice president of a global services organization which included Systems/Sales Engineering, Consulting, Professional Services, Education & Training, and Technical Support.
Lynne is responsible for building and managing the Pre and Post Sales Services practice at JBlack Associates. She specializes in the recruiting and placement of Sales Engineers, Professional Services and Sales Operations ranging from individual contributor level to VP level, for start-up to mid-sized companies in the computer industry.
Lynne's experience as an individual contributor, hiring manager and senior manager gives her great insight as a recruiter. She is able to assess what a company is looking for in a candidate, and what a candidate is looking for in a company. She is a skilled interviewer, able to quickly determine a candidate's marketability and very adept at matching the right candidate to the right job.
Steve Gallier - Executive Recruiter
Steve joined the JBlack team in 2014 with a very unique background. Steve is a graduate of Bryant University and holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University. After a brief stint in Banking & Financial Services, Steve became a very successful multi-unit owner\operator for a national restaurant franchise. Steve credits his business ownership experience as a great pre-requisite for sales & recruiting. Steve cut his teeth at a major national recruiting firm before making the transition to an inside sales\corporate recruiting role at Successfactors\SAP. The combination of SaaS sales, corporate & agency recruiting makes Steve an outstanding addition to the team.
